Client Inventory requirements

In order to use the Symantec Ghost Client Inventory, each client computer must have WMI Core 1.5 installed. This is supplied with Windows 2000, Me, and XP. It is not supplied with Windows 9x/NT. If any of your client computers do not have WMI Core 1.5, you must install it.

Earlier versions of WMI Core will allow you to use the Client Inventory, but may not contain some of the classes and properties that are included in version 1.5.
