Executing a recovery task

If a clone task that includes preserved files fails and you cannot start the client computer, you can execute a recovery task to recover the preserved files.

The recovery task is a simplified version of the failed clone task, and does just enough to restore an image on the client computer and give you access to the preserved files. A recovery task does not attempt any steps that precede the clone step of the task.

If the target of the recovery task is a computer group, the recovery task executes only on the computers on which the original task failed.
