Enabling Wake On Lan (WOL)

You can enable Wake on Lan (WOL) to include computers that are shut down when the task is executed. This only applies to computers that support WOL. Computers must meet the following specifications:

• The motherboard must support WOL.

• The NIC must support WOL.

• There must be a wire connecting the motherboard WOL port to the NIC WOL port.

• The WOL feature must be enabled in BIOS Power Management.

• The connection light on the back of the NIC must be lit when the computer is turned off.

In the Properties for <Task name> window, in the Network tab, check Use WOL when executing a task.

If you want to turn off the computers that were started, once the task is executed, check Shut down machines when task is finished.
