Rule Definition dialog box

Specifies the rules for selecting the files and settings to include and exclude in a data template. The path and files must be fully defined unless relative paths are defined on the Advanced tab. For example, C:\Windows\.

Settings	Description
Action	Include: Includes the files in the DirPath/RegPath box. Exclude: Excludes the files in the DirPath/RegPath box.
DirPath/RegPath	Specifies the directory path and file definition for the group of files to select. This may be one of the following: Partial path, and file definition or wildcard characters Fully defined path, and file definition or wildcard characters A predefined variable, and file definition or wildcard characters Registry keys See Registry keys.

Date Apply to files	Lets you select files that have been modified, created, or last accessed within specified dates.
Between	Lets you specify dates between which files are selected.
During the previous X Months	Lets you set the number of months.
During the previous X Days	Lets you set the number of days.
Size Apply to files	Lets you select files by size. You can specify the following: Greater than: To include files that are greater than the specified size. Less than: To include files that are less than the specified size. KB: The file size, in kilobytes.
