Evaluating the data after a test deployment

Use the Evaluation Checklist as a guide in evaluating Express Software Manager. Besides performing the tasks listed there, you can also view and sort data in many ways; examples are listed in the below sections.

In Express Administrative Console

• Right-click a specific file, license unit, machine, other asset, or user to view its properties.

• Use commands on the File menu to create groups of license units, users, machines, or other assets. (These are copied—not moved—from the comprehensive lists.) Groups are helpful in filtering reports.

In Express Reports Console

• To evaluate your test data, open the reports pertinent to your goals.

• Use filtering to sort data for reports.

• Drill down to see increasing detail on a license unit or machine.

• Examine statistical information about the PC hardware you are managing.

• View usage data for license units you are interested in.
