Restore Item dialog box

This dialog box lets you restore to your mailbox one or more archived items.

You cannot restore items to Personal folders.

If you do not have access to the vault in which Enterprise Vault has stored the original items, you cannot restore them from their shortcuts.

The dialog box contains the following fields:

Current folder	Restores the selected items to the folder that currently contains the associated shortcuts. If you have selected multiple shortcuts, Enterprise Vault restores them all to this folder.
Restored Items folder	Restores the selected items to a special Enterprise Vault folder. If the folder does not already exist then Enterprise Vault automatically creates it.
Delete shortcut when item has been restored	Deletes the shortcuts after Enterprise Vault has restored the original items. Enterprise Vault creates new shortcuts when it next archives the items. You may want to keep the shortcuts if you plan to modify the restored items. The shortcuts provide links to the original versions of the archived items in the vault.
