In most cases you can change the name and description of a role and choose the permissions to associate with it.
Note the following restrictions on editing the predefined roles:
You can rename the Compliance System Admin and User Admin roles. However, you cannot delete these roles or change the permissions that are assigned to them.
You can change the permissions that are assigned to the compliance supervisor, department reviewer, and exception reviewer roles. However, you cannot rename or delete these roles.
You must have the Manage Roles permission to edit a role. By default, users with the application role of App User Admin have this permission.
To edit the properties of a role
Click the Application tab in the Compliance Accelerator client, and then click the Roles tab.
In the right pane, change the role name and description, if necessary, and choose the permissions to associate with the role.
The role name must be unique and can contain up to 50 characters. The description can contain up to 250 characters.
