PST files on network drives

You can configure this facility to migrate PST files stored on Windows-based network drives, and on NetApp Filers. In the case of Windows-based file servers, the account that runs the Directory service requires appropriate permissions on the file servers to run the NetShareGetInfo function. By default, this right is granted to members of the Administrators, Server Operators, and Power Users local groups.

You cannot migrate files that are hosted on:

Non-Windows file servers, other than NetApp Filer; for example, UNIX/Linux servers.
NetApp vFiler devices running a version of Data ONTAP earlier than Data ONTAP 7.3.
Distributed File System (DFS) shares.
