Checking the monitoring alert configurations
On the Monitoring tab in
Site Properties you can configure alerts that enable you to monitor
aspects of Enterprise Vault health and performance. When a
monitored item reaches its threshold settings, an alert is logged
in the following places:

The Status pane in the Administration Console

The Enterprise Vault event log

The Windows Application event log
When procedures in your
environment change you may find that you need to modify some
alerts. For example, if the time that backups finish changes by two
hours, you may find that you need to modify the alerts that rely on
the backups being complete.
The following alert settings enable you to
configure the alert as required:

. This is
the level at which Enterprise Vault logs an event. For example, if
Directory Backup has a Threshold of 2 Days, an event is logged if
Enterprise Vault has not been backed up after 2 Days.

. This is
how often Enterprise Vault checks this item.

. The time
at which measuring starts.
To modify monitoring alerts

In the left pane of the
Administration Console, right-click the Site and, on the shortcut
menu, click .

Click the tab.
