New Exchange Server

The New Exchange Server wizard enables you to add an Exchange Server computer as an archiving target to your Vault Site.

When you are adding a Exchange Server computer you can also create an Exchange Mailbox, Exchange Public Folder, or Exchange Journaling task, as required, to control when archiving takes place.

To archive from user mailboxes on the new Exchange Server

  1. Create or modify a policy to control what is archived.

  2. Add the mailboxes to a provisioning group.

  3. Run the provisioning task for the new Exchange Server. This task is created automatically.

  4. Enable mailboxes for archiving as required.
