Generate report files for archive runs. Enterprise Vault can automatically generate a report of each normal mode run. The report shows details of what was archived.

The report goes into a file in the Reports\Domino Mailbox Archiving subfolder of the Enterprise Vault installation folder (normally C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault\Reports\Domino Mailbox Archiving).

The file name is as follows:

EV_Domino_Mailbox_Archiving_Report_taskname_yyyymmddhhmmss.TXT

where taskname is the name of the task and yyyymmddhhmmss is the date and time that the report was generated.

The fields within the file are tab-separated, so the contents can easily be read into a spreadsheet program for analysis.

Brief. Select this to receive summary reports.

Full. Select this to receive detailed reports.

Reports to keep. Specify the number of reports to you want to be retained in the Reports folder. When this number is reached, the oldest report is automatically deleted when a new one is created.

The number you specify here applies separately to report mode and normal mode. For example, if you specify 10 reports, then Enterprise Vault allows a maximum of 10 report mode reports and 10 normal mode reports.
