Provide the locations for the fingerprint database's primary SQL filegroup and transaction log.
The primary SQL filegroup holds the system tables, stored procedures, and views. The filegroup is created with an initial size of 132 megabytes and typically grows only slowly.
The transaction log provides the means to reconstruct the database if there is ever a problem with it. The log is created with an initial size of 80 megabytes. You should restrict this log to a manageable size as part of your backup regime.
. Enter the path to the folder where you want to create the primary SQL filegroup for the fingerprint database. Click if you want to select from a list of available locations.
. Enter the path to the folder where you want to create the transaction log for the fingerprint database. Click if you want to select from a list of available locations.
Specify the locations in a format that is local to the SQL server.
. The non-primary filegroups hold the fingerprint data and other information about the SIS parts. When you use Enterprise Vault single instance storage, the non-primary filegroups may grow very rapidly in size. For optimal performance select the check box and on the next wizard page specify as many locations as possible, up to the maximum of 32.
