A provisioning task applies archiving policies to mailboxes in provisioning groups. The task runs once or twice each day, processing provisioning groups in the order in which they are listed in the Administration Console.
. Run in report mode. Select this to force this task to run in report mode. Enterprise Vault can automatically generate a report of each report mode run. The report shows details of what would be archived in a normal mode run.
The report goes into a file
in the Reports\Exchange Provisioning
subfolder of the Enterprise Vault installation folder (normally
C:\Program Files\Enterprise
Vault\Reports\Exchange Provisioning
).

the report was generated.
When you use to perform an immediate archive run, the setting of is ignored. Instead, there is a prompt that asks whether you want to run in report mode.
. Startup type. Specifies how the task starts. The task must be started before it can process according to its schedule.
The possible settings are as follows:
. The task starts automatically when the Task Controller Service starts.
. The task never starts automatically. You can start it from within the Administration Console. To start the task, right-click its name in the Administration Console and then click .
. The task never starts automatically and cannot be started manually until you change this setting to Automatic or Manual.
. For your notes. Edit this text as necessary. This text is visible only to Enterprise Vault administrators.
