Each Enterprise Vault task or service that performs archiving actions runs according to a schedule that you define. By default, all tasks and services use the site schedule.
This site schedule sets the default times for all archiving tasks and services in this Enterprise Vault Site. The times you set here apply unless you override them by editing the properties of individual tasks or services.
Note that this schedule affects only background archiving, not responsiveness to user actions. For example, an Outlook user who manually archives a mail message can do so without waiting for any task or service to be within its scheduled run window.
. Select this to set the default to be that no task or service runs according to a schedule. You can then, if you want, override this setting for individual Services. (If you select this setting you do not prevent users interactively storing specific items in their archives.)
. Select this to set the default to be that tasks and services in this site process their run at the times you select. The task service processes until either it has no more work to do, or reaches the end of its allotted time window. You can, if you want, override this setting for individual tasks or services by editing their properties.
. Select this to make the time display show units of one hour. You can then select times in intervals of an hour.
. Select this to make the time display show units of a quarter of an hour. You can then select times in quarter hours.
Note that, if you change the display back to , all times are rounded up to the nearest whole hour. For example, if you set a range of 07:00 to 07:15 it would become a range of 07:00 to 08:00 when you change the display to . This change is not reversed if you change back to 15 minute intervals. If you do change to hourly intervals by mistake, use to abandon your changes.
