The list shows the PST files and the Retention Category that are used for items from each file. You must specify for each PST file, which Retention Category to use for items from that file.
If a PST file was created by an export from Enterprise Vault, there may be an associated configuration file that contains details of the original Retention Category, in which case Enterprise Vault tries to match the Retention Category settings to those of one of the currently available Retention Categories. Enterprise Vault ignores the old Retention Category name - it looks only at the settings.
Assign a Retention Category to each of the PST files. The wizard has placed icons next to the file names, indicating the status of each file.
The icons have the following meanings:
New Retention Categories that you create are, by default, visible to those users who have the option of selecting a Retention Category when performing a manual archive. When you have assigned a Retention Category to each PST file, click to continue.
