Note that the following policies are not listed:
Policies that use placeholder shortcuts. These are not listed if the volume does not support placeholder shortcuts. In order to use placeholder shortcuts, the appropriate conditions must be met: there must be an Enterprise Vault device driver on the file server, and the volume must be an NTFS device. It is not sufficient to use a non-NTFS device that appears on the network as an NTFS device.
Policies that apply quotas. These are not listed if the volume does not support quotas. In order to use quotas, the appropriate conditions must be met: The volume must represent a complete partition, and the volume must present itself as being an NTFS device.
. Select this to enable archive of this new volume, or clear it to prevent archiving. If you clear , you prevent both scheduled archiving and archiving.
You can change this setting later, as required, by editing the volume's properties.
. Select this if you want to be able to include data from this volume in FSA reports.
This option is not available unless you have enabled data collection for FSA Reporting on the file server.
