Create an archive point on the selected folder. Select this option to make Enterprise Vault store files from this folder and its subfolders in the same archive.

Click Properties to edit the properties of the archive.

Create archive points for subfolders of the selected folder. Select this option to make Enterprise Vault create a new archive for each existing subfolder.

Click Properties to edit the properties of the archive.

Auto-enable archive points for subfolders of the selected folder. Select this to make the archiving task create an archive point for each immediate subfolder of the selected folder. When new immediate subfolders are added the archiving task will, on its next run, automatically create a new archive point for each.

This can be useful when you have a folder that contains one subfolder for each of a number of users. When you select this option, a new archive is created automatically for each user's folder.

Do not create an archive point. Select this option to make Enterprise Vault archive this folder and its subfolders to the same archive as is used for the parent folder. If you have selected a root folder then there is no parent folder, so this folder and its subfolders will not be archived.
