Root path. Specify the root path for the Public Folder Auto-Enabler. The Auto-Enabler automatically creates archiving targets for folders immediately beneath this root path.

If you use Outlook to view the properties of the target public folder, you can copy the Folder path value from the Outlook folder properties to the clipboard, and then paste it in here as the root path.

You cannot change the root path later, but you can delete the Public Folder Auto-Enabler and create another one with a different root path.

Exchange Public Folder Task. The list shows the Exchange Public Folder Tasks. Select the task that you want to process this public folder.

By default, Enterprise Vault uses the same task to scan for new folders, to enable, and to archive from them. If you have a large number of public folders it may be some time before archiving begins. To be sure that archiving starts on time, you can edit the properties of the public folder to select a different task to perform the scanning for new folders.

Activate this auto-enabler. Select this if you want the Public Folder Auto-Enabler to be active immediately.

Clear this if you do not want this auto-enabler to be active yet. You can then activate it by editing its properties and selecting Activate this auto-enabler.
