By default, all items that are archived in the new archives are stored with the Retention Category you specify here.
Users can override the selection you make here and can thus archive items using any of the available Retention Categories.
. Select this if you want to use the default settings. If you want to use different settings, clear this and then modify the settings appropriately.
. Select the default Retention Category to apply to items stored in the archives associated with the selected mailboxes. This setting can be overridden by the individual users, who can select from the available Retention Categories.
. Enter the Indexing Service that Enterprise Vault must use when indexing items from the selected mailboxes. Click if you want to select a different Indexing Service.
