File Group Properties: File Types
A file group enables you to
specify several different file types to that are to be treated
together for the purposes of file archiving.
For example, you could
create a file group called "Web Pages" and within it have the file
types *.htm
, *.html
, and *.gif
.
Within a FSA policy you could then define a rule that applied to
"Web Pages".
The list shows the file
types that comprise this file group.
Note:
|
*.* matches only
those file names that have extensions, such as .txt , .pdf ,
.doc . To match all file names, both
with and without extensions, you must enter * as the file type.
