This screen asks for information about the Vault Service account. The Vault Service account is a privileged Windows account that is used by a number of the Enterprise Vault services.

The Vault Service account is given the advanced user rights Log On As a Service, Act as Part of the Operating System, and Debug programs.

Account. The format of the Vault Service account must be as follows:

Domain\Username

For example, for an account with name VaultAdmin and a Domain called OurDomain:

OurDomain\VaultAdmin

Password. This is the password for the Vault Service account. The password cannot be blank.

Confirm password. This is the password for the Vault Service account.
