The Enterprise Vault Monitoring Database holds the monitoring data for Enterprise Vault Operations Manager. It includes a transaction log, which provides the means to reconstruct the database if there is ever a problem with it.
The Monitoring Database is created with an initial size of 100 megabytes. The transaction log is created with an initial size of 80 megabytes. Ensure that there is adequate space for the database to grow as data is added.
You must monitor and manage this database using the normal SQL Server Enterprise Manager tools.

If you have specified that SQL Server is on a remote computer, the paths for the data file and the transaction log must be valid on that remote computer. |
When you have specified the locations, click to create the Enterprise Vault Monitoring Database.
