Enterprise Vault Configuration Wizard

You can configure a high availability solution for Enterprise Vault using either of the following clustering technologies:

Symantec VCS
Microsoft server clusters

If you intend to configure Enterprise Vault as part of a cluster environment, then before you run this wizard you must read the relevant clustering section of the Installing and Configuring manual and prepare a VCS service group or a Microsoft server cluster resource group as described there.

Select the option you require:

Create a new Enterprise Vault server with cluster support. Select this option to configure an Enterprise Vault server with cluster support.
Add this node as a failover node for an existing clustered server. Select this option to configure this server as an Enterprise Vault failover or switchover node within the cluster.
Configure Enterprise Vault without clustering support. Select this option if you do not want Enterprise Vault to be part of the cluster environment.
