This dialog box is used in several places within Enterprise Vault.
If you are adding users to an archive, you can select many groups or users. Otherwise, you can select just one account.
If you are adding users to an archive, all the groups or users that you select here have the same type of access to the archive. If you want to add users with different types of access, you can add all the users here and then change some on the Permissions dialog box, or you can add some here and then come back to add some more.
. Select the Windows server domain or computer that has the users you want to add.
. The list shows the groups and users in the domain or computer you selected using .
. From the list, select groups or users to whom you want to give access, then click . The names are added to the list at the bottom of the dialog box.
. These are the names of those to whom you are going to give access to the archive. Use to add names to this list.
You can also type the names of groups and users in the box. Separate names with a semicolon. If the account of the group or user is not on the computer or domain shown by , you must specify the location. Type the computer or domain name, followed by the group or user name; separate names with a backslash. For example, OURDOMAIN\SMITHJ for a username of SMITH in domain OURDOMAIN.
