Status: Remaining space in Vault Store database transaction log

Problem: A Vault Store database transaction log is running out of space.

This problem is most likely to be caused by a failed backup or the database configuration.

Work through the following steps to fix the problem. You may not need to try all the steps.

  1. Check that backup tasks are not failing.

  2. Check that the Vault Store database is included in a backup job.

  3. Ensure that your database is adequately sized for the transactions taking place during an archive run.

  4. Review your SQL database backup procedures and make any changes needed to ensure that backups happen in a timely fashion.

  5. When you have corrected the backup issue, back up the Vault Store database.

  6. Run the checks again to make sure that you have corrected the problem.
