Status: Status of Directory database transaction log backup

Problem: The Directory database transaction log has not been backed up.

Work through the following steps to fix the problem. You may not need to try all the steps.

  1. Check that backup jobs are not failing. Contact your backup administrator if necessary.

    See Checking when a database was last backed up.

  2. Check that the Directory database transaction log is included in a backup job.

  3. Review your SQL database backup procedures and make any changes needed to ensure that backups happen in a timely fashion.

  4. When you have corrected the backup issue, back up the Directory database transaction log.

  5. Run the checks again to make sure that you have corrected the problem.
