Computer Migration Wizard Translate Objects Page

The Translate Objects page of the Computer Migration Wizard specifies the types of objects for which you want the Active Directory Migration Tool (ADMT) to translate security. You can select the check boxes for any of the following object types for ADMT to process:

• Files and folders
  
  Select this option to translate security on files and folders on the computer that you want to migrate.
  
  
• Local groups
  
  Select this option to translate security on the local groups on the computer that you want to migrate.
  
  
• Printers
  
  Select this option to translate security on the local printers that are configured on the computer that you want migrate.
  
  
• Registry
  
  Select this option to translate security on registry settings on the computer that you want to migrate.
  
  
• Shares
  
  Select this option to translate security on shared resources on the computer that you want to migrate.
  
  
• User profiles
  
  Select this option to translate security on the local user profiles on the computer that you want to migrate.
  
  
• User rights
  
  Select this option to translate security on the user rights on the computer that you want to migrate.
