User Account Migration Wizard User Options Page

The User Options page of the User Account Migration Wizard specifies how the Active Directory Migration Tool (ADMT) handles user account migration.

The User Options page has the following options:

• Translate roaming profiles
  
  Select this option to copy roaming profiles from the source domain to the target domain for the selected user accounts. This process associates the roaming user profile with the new user account in the target domain.
  
  
• Update user rights
  
  Select this option to set the user rights that are assigned to the new user account in the target domain to match the user rights that are assigned to the user account in the source domain.
  
  
• Migrate associated user groups
  
  Select this option to migrate the groups of which the migrated user accounts are members.
  
  
• Update previously migrated objects
  
  Select this option to update the groups of which the migrated user accounts are members, even if you migrated those groups previously. This option is available only if you select the Migrate associated user groups check box.
  
  
• Fix users' group memberships
  
  Select this option to add migrated user accounts to target domain groups, if those user accounts were members of the target domain group in the source domain.
