The LANDesk actions provide specialized integration of Asset Lifecycle Manager with other LANDesk applications and tools. This lets you leverage the features of LANDesk applications, which extends and enhances the capabilities of Asset Lifecycle Manager.
To integrate ALM with LANDesk Management Suite, the LANDesk Scheduler service in Management Suite needs to be changed from "running as a local scheduler" to a user account. This account also needs to have rights on the Asset Lifecycle Manager Service host web services.

NOTE: In order to use LANDesk actions in Asset Lifecycle Manager, you need to install the LANDesk Message-based SDK on your LANDesk Management Suite core server. You also need to configure connections to your LANDesk core servers.
