Diagnostics for HP NC-Series Broadcom 10 GbE
Multifunction adapters
Diagnostics are not supported on adapters with
FlexNIC enabled.
- Control
Registers. For each Control Register, a pattern is written
and the register is read.
- Memory. Verifies that the internal memory
of the selected adapter is functioning properly.
- Interrupt. Verifies that the NDIS driver is
able to receive interrupts from the selected adapter.
- Loopback. Tests both MAC loopback mode and
transceiver loopback mode.
- CPU.
Verifies the operation of the two internal CPUs in the selected
adapter.
