A technical control refers to a standard, section, or a check. The Select technical controls panel of the Create or Edit Data Collection Job Wizard lets you narrow your selection to sections and checks. Data is acquired only for the selected sections or checks.

This panel displays the standards, sections, and checks. You must expand a particular standard folder to view the sections in it. You must expand the sections folder to view the sub-sections or the checks in it.

Check the particular standard, section, or check for which you want to acquire data.

To display a particular technical control, type the name of the technical control in the Search box.
