Configuring the reporting database connection

You can modify the SQL Server settings of the reporting database that is initially configured in the Install wizard.

The Application Server uses the settings to communicate with the reporting database. The reporting database stores the evaluated data that is used for generating reports.

Use the settings to set up a new server. The data is not automatically migrated to the new database.

To configure the reporting database settings

  1. Go to Settings > Secure Configuration > Report Database Connection.

  2. Provide the following information:

    SQL Server

    Type the computer name that hosts the SQL Server.

    Database name

    Type the database name.

    The default database name appears in the text box.

    Instance name

    Type the SQL Server instance name.

    The default SQL Server instance name appears in the text box.

    Port number

    Type the port number of the SQL Server instance.

    If the port is enabled, the SQL Server default instance listens on TCP port 1433.

    Use SSL

    Check this option if you want SQL Server to use SSL to encrypt network transmissions independent of the network protocol.

    Use Windows NT Integrated Security

    Select this option if you connect to the SQL Server instance using Windows Authentication.

    Use a SQL user name and password

    Select this option if you connect to the SQL Server instance using SQL Server Authentication.

    You must specify the authentication details of the user in the respective text boxes.

    You cannot specify the following special characters for the User name and the Password fields:

    • Semi colon (;)

    • Double quotes (")

  3. Click Update to save.

500 Internal Server Error

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@systemmanager.forsenergy.ru to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
