Add categories to a policy
Categories are logical classifications of policies.
You can use categories to associate policies with instrumentation
and with user roles:
- You can create corresponding instrumentation categories to
ensure that the management
server deploys certain instrumentation along with the
policy.
- You can configure user roles to control the activities that
users can perform on policies that belong to a category.
To add categories to a policy
- In the details pane, right-click a policy and then click
Properties. The policy properties dialog box appears.
- Type a category name in Category. To add multiple
categories, separate each category with a comma.
- Click OK.
