VIEWING A TRACE

Next generation CDFControl

To parse a trace, click the File menu and choose the desired parsing option:

PARSE TRACE

Parses selected trace file, and displays events in viewer. TMF search path must be set in options dialog.

PARSE TRACE TO FILE

Parses trace to CSV file. Option can be set to reload trace from CSV file into CDFControl's viewer (see options menu).

SAVE VIEWER OUTPUT

Saves viewer display to CSV file.

SAVE + LAUNCH IN EXCEL

Saves viewer display to CSV file, and then automatically opens the file in Excel
