Drag an item to the Result pane of a different window

Result pane

Drag one or more items to the Scope or Result pane of a different window.

On the Same Server

You can perform many tasks by dragging and dropping. For example,

NOTE: On the same server, you cannot drag packages, package profiles, computers or computer groups to the Scope pane's <All Computers> item.

From One Server to Another

Using drag-and-drop, you can move computers to a different server.

NOTE: When you move computers to a different server, the computers' HOME directories on the source server remain.
