Command Center Scope Pane

The Scope pane appears at the left side of the Command Center window. It displays hierarchical tree view of the Command Center snap-in items.

Description

CCM Command Center

The primary stand-alone item for the CCM Command Center. It enables you to:

  • Manage the server list

  • Connect and disconnect all servers simultaneously

  • Lock the Command Center

  • Set Command Center Properties

Server

 

After you have added a CCM server to the list of managed servers in the Command Center, this item appears in the Scope pane. It enables you to:

  • Connect and disconnect the server

  • Remove the from the list of managed servers.

  • Set server specific properties.

Computer

A sub-item of the Server item. It enables you to:

  • Add single or multiple computers to the CCM server

  • Create computer groups

Profiles

A sub-item of the Server item. It enables you to:

  • Create and modify Package Profiles

Packages

A sub-item of the Server item.

It enables you to:

  • View all packages

  • View packages by package type

  • View package dependencies

  • View package classes

  • Deploy packages to computers

Administrators

A sub-item of the Server item.

It enables you to:

  • Add and remove CCM Administrators

  • Change Administrator passwords

Enterprise View

A permanent default item that displays a cumulative list of all computers, profiles, packages, and administrators from all individual servers that are currently connected to the CCM Command Center.

CCM Activities

A permanent default item that reports CCM activities being performed on one or more computers.

It enables you to:

  • Monitor administrative actions as they are being performed

  • Clear tasks that have failed

  • Rerun tasks
