Field

Information

Name

The name of the computer group that will appear in Command Center.

Description

A description that will appear in the Result pane. Optional.

External Group checkbox

Available only when you are creating a new group.

Type of Group

Select to create a group of Computers or Users.

• Computer - Links directory objects of type computers to CCM managed computers with the same hostname.

• User - Links directory objects of type user to CCM managed computers with the same display name.

Server

The name of the server where the external group resides.

User Name

User name for the server where the external group resides.

Password

Password for the server where the external group resides.

External Group Name

Source of group. The syntax depends on the source of the external group
