You can find the MAC address of a NIC in one of the following ways:
Find the address printed on the NIC.
Run the installation and diagnostic software of the board manufacturer.
For a managed computer whose NIC has a boot PROM, check the screen output on the computer when the boot PROM attempts to connect to the CCM Server.
For a Windows 95 OSR2 or Windows 98 Cooperative Mode computer, select Start > Run and type winipcfg to open the IP Configuration window that will display the necessary information.
For a Windows NT or Windows 2000 Cooperative Mode managed computer, you can select Start > Run and type winmsd to open the Windows NT/2000 Diagnostic window that will display the necessary information.
