When you are installing an operating system on a managed computer you must also install specific CCM files that give the computer CCM functionality. The CCM files required are specific to the operating system being installed.
Example,
A Windows NT computer requires the CCM Pre-OS Agent (MSDOS 6.2, English) package. While a Windows 98 computer requires the CCM Pre-OS Agent (MSDOS 8.0, English) package.
The operating system and associated CCM Pre-OS Agent are only compatible with specific partition sizes and file system types. Before installing the operating system on a CCM managed computer, make sure that the computer is correctly partitioned and formatted.
