Typically, in domain environments the CCM Windows Agent uses the smeclnt operating system user account located on the PDC for both authenticating network shares and for logging on to a managed computer.
However, at the first instance that a mobile computer is disconnected from the LAN and communicates with the CCM Configuration Server through a dial-up RAS connection, the Windows Agent creates a local smeclnt account on the managed computer and thereafter uses that account for logon purposes whether or not the computer is connected to the LAN. For this reason, in a domain environment controlled by corporate group policies and restrictive account management, you may not want to configure managed computers as mobile computers.
