Setting Server Properties

After you add and connect a server to CCM, you can set properties that affect network load, defaults for adding new computers, and the display of package info files.

Network Load Control

Network load control settings enable you to:

Computer Defaults

You can set defaults for properties of computers you add to the CCM server. Defaults will appear in the Computer Properties dialog's Identification and  Boot and Security settings tabs. As with any defaults in user-editable fields, you can change the values for individual computers.

For a list of the defaults you can set, see the Computer Defaults Tab.

Packages

Each package provided by CCM contains a package info file in HTML format. You can view this file from the Command Center's list of packages, or in the Set Parameters dialog box when you are assigning a package.

Enable this feature in the Server Properties dialog. Use the Packages tab to set the path to package info files.
