These settings are set when you first add a computer to CCM. The identification properties are:
ID is a unique computer identifier, for example the machine asset tab. More info...
Host name is the Computer Name in the Control Panel > System Properties dialog box.
Display name is the name that is displayed in the Command Center. For example, you can use the computer user's full name.
Hardware address of the computer's NIC. More info...
IP address of the computer if you use BOOTP. If you use DHCP, the field is disabled.
Gateway address of the computer if you use BOOTP. If you use DHCP, the field is disabled. More info...
Cooperative mode is the type of computer. By default the checkbox is not checked, making the computer a Consistent Mode computer.
Network type corresponds with the network card in the computer if you use BOOTP. If you use DHCP, the field is disabled. More info...
Repository folder in the HOME directory where information about this computer will be stored.
Once set, you cannot change the computer ID, the Cooperative Mode check box, or the Repository Folder location of a computer.
