You can search for a string in the computer's display name, computer ID, host name, or hardware address.
The search looks for all occurrences of the search string.
You can also match case, and use wildcards.
To find computers by string:
Right-click the All Computers item and select Find Computers > Find Computers by String.
Make your selections in the Find Computers by String dialog box. In the dialog box, select the Search Options.
The results display in a temporary group, which you can make into a permanent group.
