CCM Integrates a Computer

After the CCM administrator has added the computer to the server, defined its disk partitioning, assigned the appropriate Windows agent and saved assigned jobs, the computer is integrated. Here is an overview of what happens during this process.

The computer is powered, either manually or remotely with Wired for Management. The computer's Boot Agent contacts the server and the integration process begins.

CCM downloads a Pre-OS Agent to the computer.

When all the tasks are completed, the computer restarts, enables the CCM Windows Agent, and displays the ON Command CCM Windows Agent icon in the status bar at the lower right corner of the screen. When you double-click the icon, the ON Command CCM Windows Agent dialog box appears on the computer desktop.
