Information You Need When You Call
When you contact Technical Support, it is helpful to be at the computer where the problem occurred, in case it is necessary to re-create the problem.
Have the following information at hand:
Any error messages and log files associated with the problem.
The CCM version number.
The operating system and its version number.
Whether the CCM server is a DHCP or a BOOTP server.
Whether the CCM server is using CCM Site Services installed on other server machines.
Any CCM patches that may have been applied to the CCM Configuration Server, or to a server where CCM Site Services reside.
Whether a member of ON Technology Professional Services has made any customizations to the CCM Configuration Server or to a server where CCM Site Services reside.
Any special hardware or network configurations that may have an impact on the problem.
