When installing or updating packages keep in the mind the following restrictions:
If a password protected screensaver is running on a supported Windows computer, errors may occur during package installations. You can set the "Unlock workstation during job execution" parameter to "Yes" in the Windows Agent Settings package to ensure that the locked screensaver is ignored, and the package is properly installed.
The CCM Windows Agent will not work correctly if the automatic login for remote access (modem) is enabled. The managed computer will stop with a locked keyboard and mouse.
If you assign a job before the validation of daylight savings time, a message stops the managed computer and the keyboard and mouse are locked. You should unlock the computer, delete the job and assign the job again after the computer reboots.
CCM does not support updating a computer with any supported Windows operating system to Windows 2000 Professional. Windows 2000 computer must be reformatted and partitioned or added as new managed computers to CCM.
Any existing CCM packages for Windows NT that contain references to the ...\WinNT\Profiles\... directory will not work on Windows 2000 Professional managed computers. The Profiles section on Windows 2000 has been made language-dependent and the directory path has been changed.
