About Local Resource Delegation

bv-Admin for Windows's local resource delegation model provides the functionality and requisite roles to manage the delegation over local resources for Windows Active Directory Domains.

Local Resource Delegation is possible over the following local resources:

• Local users

• Local groups

• Files

• Folders

• File shares

• Printers

• Services

• Registry Keys

To manage the local resources on a particular computer the delegation administrator should be added to the Local Administrator Group of that computer and the connected user should be delegated with a Role to manage that local resource on the concerned computer.
