You can group, or pool, media servers.
To create a media server pool
On the central administration server's navigation bar, click Media Servers.
On the task pane, under Media Server Pool Tasks, click New media server pool.
Enter a media server pool name and description.
Select the media servers you want to add to the pool.
Click OK.
