To view Remote Media Agent properties

1. On the navigation bar, click the arrow next to Backup.

2. Click New Backup Job.

3. On the View by Resources tab, expand Linux/Unix Servers.

4. Right-click the name of a Remote Media Agent.

5. Click Properties.

   The following properties appear:

   Name	Displays the assigned name or IP address of the Remote Media Agent.
   Media server status	Displays the status of the Remote Media Agent. Media server status includes Online, Pause, Unavailable, and Offline.
   Description	Displays a user-definable description of the Remote Media Agent.
   Pingable	Check Pingable to let Backup Exec communicate with the Remote Media Agent. You can turn off this option in environments where ping requests are blocked.
   Host ID	Displays the identifier number that the Remote Media Agent generates.
   System version	Displays the version of the operating system that runs on the Remote Media Agent.

6. Click OK.
