Sharing an existing Symantec Protection Network folder

If you have the Central Admin Server Option (CASO) or the SAN Shared Storage Option installed, you can share Symantec Protection Network folders between computers. Shared Symantec Protection Network folders are listed in the Devices view under each computer that can access them. Symantec Protection Network folder names are unique. You cannot have more than one folder with the same name for an account.

To share an existing Symantec Protection Network folder

  1. On the computer on which you want to add the folder for sharing, on the navigation bar, click Devices.

  2. In the task pane under Symantec Protection Network tasks, click Add Shared Symantec Protection Network Folder.

  3. Type the name of the shared Symantec Protection Network folder that you want to add to this computer.

  4. Click OK.

    The shared Symantec Protection Network folder appears in the Devices view under Symantec Protection Network.
